Air+ PROJECT is an innovative new air chiller system designed to provide cooling air to blown film and sheet extrusion lines. It comprises two main elements, the AIR+ chiller (a stand-alone unit that produces cold air), and BRA+ cooling batteries. The latter are constructed within a closed framework for maximum insulation and superior bubble cooling performance on blown film lines.

How it works
The AIR+ functions by using the condensing water from a condensing kit or chiller at 15-35°C to cool in a simple and direct way. As a result, significant energy savings of up to 50% can be achieved in comparison with other models. The chiller also features a control panel with operation diagnosis, an air filter with a large surface area, and an ergonomic and compact design that ensures plant space is maximised. There are seven models in the new AIR+ range offering maximum airflow rates from 1000 to 7000 m³/hr and cooling capacities from 13.5 to 93.8 kW.
The AIR+ PROJECT is supported by BRA+ batteries. BRA+ units feature a large surface area for maximum heat exchange, an integral diffuser for low air velocity and removable air filters for ease of maintenance. Other design features include a proportional three-way valve for precise temperature control, a thermometer that monitors ambient temperature and a collection tank with drain port for condensate. There are 13 models in the BRA+ range of batteries offering airflow rates between 250 and 17,000 m³/hr and cooling capacity between 2.4 and 169 kW.
