Signifying the valuable contribution of the engineering sector to the UK economy, process cooling specialist IsoCool has received a prestigious award from the ICAEW, a world leading professional membership organisation for the accountancy and finance industry. Following a nomination by the company’s accountancy firm, IsoCool entered and won the Growing Business of the Year Award at this year’s ICAEW Accountancy and Business Awards.

Open to all types of businesses across all industries, the Growing Business of the Year award is an extremely competitive category – and demanding, no less, with entrants required to demonstrate how product and service innovations, customer relations, and internal leadership and staff development have led to financial success and growth. Despite the tough competition, IsoCool’s commitment to energy and cost saving cooling solutions (which often reduce manufacturers’ cooling costs by up to 80%), as well as a plethora of outstanding testimonials, ensured IsoCool stood head and shoulders above the competition.

Of course it was IsoCool’s exceptional growth that really grabbed the attention of the judges. IsoCool has seen significant increases in turnover in recent years, and is now considered one of the leading process cooling specialists in the UK. Furthermore, demand for IsoCool’s innovative services recently spread to the Middle East – with requests coming from a number of high profile manufacturers – and as a result, the company is due to open a subsidiary office in the MENA region later this year.

“We’re honoured to have been recognised by the financial industry with this award, and proud to have had the opportunity to represent the engineering sector. I think it demonstrates the valuable contribution of our industry to the growth of the UK economy, and hope that there are many more examples to come. As for us, we’re absolutely delighted with the award win,” remarked Nigel Hallett, managing director of IsoCool.
