British process cooling specialist, IsoCool, has secured yet another significant contract in the Middle East. This time for Al Zamil Industry for Trade and Transportation, one of the leading water tank manufacturers in the MENA region. Essex-based IsoCool, which is represented in the MENA region by a Saudi-based agent, will be supplying a high performance turnkey chilled water system for Al Zamil’s new state-of-the-art blow moulding facility in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Since breaking into the Middle East plastics market in 2013, IsoCool has gained an enviable reputation in the region, with the company’s cooling expertise and solutions having proved a valuable asset to manufacturers in this rapidly expanding industry arena. Al Zamil is no exception. The business is undergoing a period of intense growth, and has plans to develop a number of factories in strategic locations around the MENA region. With this in mind, Al Zamil called upon IsoCool to deliver world-leading cooling solutions worthy of its high production standards.

“Al Zamil products are characterised by the highest international quality specifications, and we use only the very latest methods of global manufacturing technology. To achieve such high standards, we are very careful to select suppliers that share our uncompromising approach to quality and attention to detail. IsoCool delivers exceptional expertise in the field of process cooling, as well as world-leading products, and is a partner capable of helping us expand efficiently and seamlessly,” said Andre Van Der Merwe, Chief Operation Officer at Al Zamil.

The forthcoming installation will supply cooled water to Al Zamil’s new blow moulding facility, which will be producing water storage tanks up to 10,000 litre capacity. IsoCool is set to deliver a centralised chilled water plant with a cooling capacity of over 1MW, as well as a turnkey mechanical and electrical installation. The centralised plant will comprise a Eurochiller GRP process pump and tank group, as well as three Eurochiller NAX air cooled water chillers, all tropicalised to withstand the intense conditions in Jeddah where ambient temperatures of 55oC are commonplace. The chillers will also feature condensers built specially with large surface areas to cope with the coastal location. IsoCool will commission the system and provide hands on training to Al Zamil staff to ensure business continuity.

Nigel Hallett, Managing Director of IsoCool, is delighted to be working with Al Zamil at such an important stage in the company’s growth.

“The plastics market in the Middle East is expanding as a whole, but some companies, like Al Zamil, are really steaming ahead. As a British manufacturer, we are honoured to deliver our expertise to such an exceptional company in the Middle East, and look forward to a long, successful relationship with Al Zamil.”
