Process cooling specialist, IsoCool, is introducing its own range of entry level, value engineered chillers. The new EPI series offers cooling capacities from 2.7 to 134.6 kW, with numerous models and configurations available to suit all industrial applications where chilled process water is required. Both air (axial or radial fan) and water cooled condenser versions are available for manufacturers concerned about budget but cannot afford to compromise on performance and reliability.
Despite their attractive market price point, IsoCool’s EPI chillers provide numerous features and benefits normally only associated with high-end units. For instance, the new series features a microprocessor-based control panel and an insulated stainless steel tank with automatic water fill,
Among numerous other features, there is a filter on the air intake and an automatic hydraulic bypass and water pressure gauge. What’s more, the refrigerant circuit features expansion valve and low/high gas pressure switches. The system is charged with environmentally friendly refrigerant and is CE-PED compliant. There is even a ‘super tropicalised’ version of the condenser unit (with sub-cooling) for high ambient temperatures.
In combination, these features will help fulfill applications that include plastic processing, welding, robotics and laser systems, as well as many others in sectors such as food, textiles, chemicals and flexographics. Supplied in an attractive and compact design envelope, the EPI series is capable of water flows from 0.46 to 23.15 m³/h.
